廣大興漁船事件發生至今已將近3個月，原本彈痕累累的船體經修復後，5日傍晚重新出海捕魚，擔任船長的是洪石成長子洪育智，洪母特地到港邊送行，卻讓她不禁想起丈夫被菲律賓無情射殺一事。

據《聯合報》報導，船長是洪石成長子洪育智，他表示，原本傷痕累累的漁船日前修復，為了生計，收起傷痛心情出海到蘭嶼、大武附近捕鮪、旗魚等，預估出海１星期。

洪育智說，修復漁船的費用大約130萬元，是先和親友借來的。船上共有3名台籍船員、1名印尼籍船員，希望能滿載而歸。洪母也特地到琉球港邊送行，但一想到丈夫被無情射殺，不禁悲從中來。
