中華職棒球季賽剛開打，義大犀牛陣容就有變動，羅政龍、張耿豪上一軍，陳煥揚、林正豐下二軍，其中簽半年合約的羅政龍，是興農牛變成義大犀牛之後，首度上一軍。

過去興農牛時期，羅政龍曾是被期待的左投，2011年及2012年共出賽52場，23場先發，投134.1局，戰績4勝9敗、防禦率6.16，但2013年興農牛變成義大犀牛之後，羅政龍就沒有一軍出賽成績，去年在二軍出賽13場，4場先發，投22.1局，戰績1勝4敗、防禦率9.27。

控球一直是羅政龍最大的問題，去年在二軍投22.1局竟出現了37次保送（包括6次觸身球保送），因此季後犀牛球團決定與他簽半年合約。

羅政龍在官辦熱身賽上場2場，投1.2局，又投出3次保送，球速最快135公里，失2分但不是責失，防禦率0，戰績1敗，控球仍是他的最大問題。
