邊坡坍方 阿里山鐵路本線停駛

（中央社記者江俊亮嘉義縣24日電）阿里山森林鐵路受麥德姆颱風影響，本線因邊坡坍方而停駛；沼平、神木及祝山等3條支線明天起恢復營運。

受麥德姆颱風影響，阿里山森林鐵路22、23日停駛，其中沼平線、神木線及祝山線今天經試運轉測試後，情況良好，將自25日起恢復正常行駛。

阿里山森林鐵路管理處表示，由於本線17公里630公尺處，也就是竹崎至樟腦寮之間的邊坡因坍方而塌落約300立方公尺，需緊急搶修，因此嘉義至奮起湖的本線仍繼續停駛。

森鐵管理處指出，颱風期間列車停駛或中斷時，乘客可於15日內（含當日）持車票至森鐵各車站售票口辦理全額退票。1030724
