NBA／尼克將買斷合約 世界和平仍謝紐約

去年夏天喊出「為紐約而戰」的聲音還言猶在耳，如今世界和平 (Metta World Peace)和尼克卻顯相看兩厭，教頭伍德森 (Mike Woodson)今天證實：「正在尋找其他方向。」 世界和平的紐約日記已經寫到終章。

消息指出，尼客尋求買斷世界和平與伍瑞 (Beno Udrih)兩位老將合約，兩人今天都未參與面對老鷹一戰，伍德森賽前證實球隊將有其他計畫，另覓戰力填補兩人留下的位置。

世界和平的弟弟丹尼爾‧亞泰斯特 (Daniel Artest)今天透過推特開砲，以一系列留言抨擊伍德森和總管杜蘭 (James Dolan)，也透過紐郵表示：「他們不知道自己到底做了什麼事！」

倒是世界和平本人顯得平靜，他在推特留言：「經紀人剛剛通知我，我隨時會被釋出，我只想說謝謝這一切。」他表示自己是真心的感謝，對這座城市沒有絲毫不敬，能來紐約打球，「我一直都很感激。」
