男患漸凍人症　殺妻和小姨子後舉槍自盡

美國威斯康辛州一名患上俗稱是「漸凍人症」的39歲退休員警安德魯‧史提爾(Andrew Steele)，上周五於住所內槍殺39歲妻子阿什莉(Ashlee Steele)以及38歲小姨子托爾斯博(Kacee Tollesbol)後，再企圖開槍自盡了結生命，最終被醫護人員救回。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，安德魯在今年5月被診斷出患上「肌肉萎縮性脊髓側索硬化症」(ALS)，被迫辭去擔任16年的警察工作。安德魯因為患病，手臂肌肉不停抽搐，而且變得口齒不清。但妻子阿什莉總是陪伴在身旁，並在網上發起募款活動，以負擔丈夫的醫療費，也常在社群網站上分享「冰桶挑戰」影片。

警方指出，夫妻兩人疑似在上周發生口角，隨後悲劇發生，而阿什莉的妹妹托爾斯博當天前往拜訪，也被捲入其中，目前警方正調查安德魯開槍的真正動機。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
