根據聯準會(Fed)周三公布的褐皮書報告顯示，至8月底為止，經濟持續以略高於溫和或溫和的速度成長，僅房屋市場表現落後。

「12個Fed地區中，沒有一個地區的整體成長速度，有明顯變化，」該報告說。

儘管消費者支出與非金融服務業持續擴張，「但12個地區中，僅有半數報告住宅不動產活動穩定或成長。」

勞工市場持續緩慢成長，薪資與物價壓力少有變動。

根據該報告，這些地區幾乎平均分布於三類表現：擴張，緊縮，或不變。
