UL今天宣布，其台北實驗室通過世界三大無線充電技術聯盟之一的電力事業聯盟 (Power Matters Alliance, PMA) 審核，成為該組織在台灣唯一可提供 PMA 測試及認證服務的認可實驗室。

同時，UL指出，聯發科技的新產品 (MT3188) 亦通過 UL 台灣測試首獲 PMA 認證，證明產品採用的 IC 模組可兼容 PMA 無線充電技術。以消費者通路模式推廣的 PMA 無線充電技術，事實上已於美國盛行，包括星巴克及麥當勞等大型連鎖餐廳皆可見支援 PMA 技術的相關應用。
