BHP停產美頁岩油井4成

〔編譯盧永山／綜合報導〕由於國際油價、鐵礦砂價格持續下跌，澳洲礦業巨擘必和必拓（BHP Billiton）為了避免獲利受衝擊，決定將美國近40%的頁岩油井停產。此外，阿曼加入委內瑞拉和伊朗陣營，質疑石油輸出國家組織（OPEC）不減產的決定。

必和必拓週三發布聲明指出，截至去年12月底的6個月，在美國境內鑽挖油井的支出降至19億美元，2013年同期為21億美元。7月將把在美國鑽挖的油井數目由26座減至16座。

美國頁岩油產量創30年來最高，加上OPEC不願減產，導致全球供應過剩，布蘭特原油期貨價格從去年6月高點以來已回跌54%。

去年鐵礦砂價格跌47%，因必和必拓在中國需求疲弱之際仍持續增產。鐵礦砂是必和必拓最大收入來源。

OPEC在沙烏地阿拉伯主導下，於去年11月27日的會議中決定，為了鞏固市佔率，將維持現有產能不變。但當時伊朗和委內瑞拉均希望OPEC減產，來拉抬油價。
