絕跡52年的狂犬病在台現蹤，台北市衛生局提醒民眾，目前提供狂犬病疫苗接種之國際預防接種合約醫院／國際旅遊門診，有台大醫院、台北馬偕醫院及國防醫學院三軍總醫院。
北市衛生局表示，民眾如遭野生哺乳類動物（不含流浪犬／貓）抓咬傷，可前往這3家醫院就醫並「自費接種」人用狂犬病疫苗。
衛生局說，若出國時不幸被動物咬傷，可持國外遭動物咬傷就醫之診斷證明書、狂犬病疫苗接種紀錄及護照，至這3家醫院就醫，經醫師評估後，可提供免費接種疫苗。
衛生局呼籲民眾勿過於恐慌，提醒如至野外地區應慎防野生動物咬傷，如遭抓咬傷，請立即以肥皂及大量清水清洗傷口15分鐘，然後以優碘或70%酒精消毒後儘速就醫。
