蔡文誠挾本季SBL例行賽、總冠軍戰「雙料MVP」入選中華隊國手，在2013年亞錦賽先發、替補兩相宜，讓全亞洲都知道台灣有這麼一號人物。
蔡文誠12日隨中華隊返抵國門時受到「巨星級」款待，不斷被要求合照、簽名，笑容根本停不下來，他笑說：「謝謝大家，但我只想趕快回去看我老婆。」
中華隊9日痛宰中國，蔡文誠獨得21分、7籃板，讓大陸媒體賽後痛批代表隊輕敵，完全忽略掉這位全能鋒線。
「我也不知道他們有沒有看不起我，但就算有，我也早就習慣了，從以前打球就被低估，能夠證明自己實力很開心。」蔡文誠說。
不僅球迷對「海峽大戰」津津樂道，此役也是蔡文誠此行印象最深刻的一場比賽，「第4節的關鍵時刻，有一球我進算加罰，那個時候真的很過癮，真的很想狂吼一下。」他笑說。 (接下一頁)
