智慧型手表躍為3C競逐焦點，索尼將SmartWatch視為手機的第二螢幕，三星則將GALXAY Gear定位在貼身特助，手表與手機既可獨立運作，但又息息相關。

GALXAY Gear在表帶安置一枚數位相機，既可拍照又能錄影，眼見心動事物，不必再掏手機、翻相機，手指自表面啟動拍攝，對準目標，輕敲一下即可完成拍照，再滑動一下螢幕，即可從電子郵件、社群網站等不同途逕分享出去。

三星Note系列上市3年，在台大賣80萬台，新一代Note 3除了全新Air Command感應快捷環，可一筆到底做完所有工作，GALXAY Gear是它的最新搭檔，S Health的功能再延伸，出去跑步不用帶手機，GALXAY Gear會記錄一切，再與手機同步；雙機之間還具有相互尋找呼喚功能，不用擔心找不到。
