法「避孕藥之父」諾伊維爾特逝世　享年89歲

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】被法國稱為「避孕藥之父」的政治家諾伊維特（Lucien Neuwirth）前天病逝，享年89歲。他在上個世紀的六零年代積極推動避孕藥合法化，法國國會1967年終於通過「諾伊維特法案」，並在1972年實施，法國才終於讓口服避孕藥合法化。

據法國國際廣播電台報導，由於保守人士與教會的抵制，包括德國、瑞士、英國等歐洲國家都已經合法出售口服避孕藥時，法國還認為這是一種違法行為。但身為國會議員的諾伊維特認為許多女性都遭遇了意外懷孕的困境，因此持續推動計畫生育運動，1967年才終於如願。由於守舊人士的阻撓，這部法案5年後才得以生效實施。
