智利野火肆虐　首都空氣品質15年來最差

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】智利受高溫影響野火肆虐，數周內發生逾70場火警，煙霧籠罩首都聖地牙哥，空氣品質近15年來最差，當局8日向四個地區發出健康警告，並訂購口罩和氧氣筒，以備不時之需。

大火在上周末迅速蔓延，至今已焚燒逾四萬公頃土地，造成逾100萬美元財物損失，空氣污染也影響聖地牙哥近700萬居民。消防員過去數周一直努力撲救，但高溫加上強風，導致死灰復燃，至今仍有47處森林大火未被撲滅。

為保障民眾健康，負責處理相關緊急措施的衞生部長，下令額外訂購口罩和氧氣筒，以及增聘醫護人員和救護車作好準備，並呼籲居民盡量避免從事戶外活動，而且大火可能導致鼠類動物逃離森林，增加病毒散播的機會。
