紐時總編輯被fired

紐約時報上任不滿年的紐時史首位女總編輯艾布蘭森，14日被紐時老闆沙茲柏格開除。原因複雜，目前紐時發言人、沙茲柏格、艾布蘭森各方面對此事尚無評論。紐約客雜誌分析的原因包括艾布蘭森要求同工同酬惹高層不快，以及沙茲柏格一直認為「這女人pushy」 (pushy用於形容女性，有逼人、得理不饒人等意)難相處。立即接任的新總編輯是紐時執行主編 Dean Baquet，他成為紐時史首位非裔總編輯。
