聖戰分子曾發電郵 通知佛里家人他將被殺

僱用佛里的波士頓《全球郵報》（GlobalPost）新聞網站行政總裁巴爾博尼（Philip Balboni）透露，聖戰分子上周曾發電郵告訴美國記者佛里的家人，內容充滿憤怒，但沒有提出任何要求，只威脅處決佛里，以報復美國在伊拉克空襲「伊斯蘭國」聖戰分子。

美聯社引述巴爾博尼說，縱然向聖戰分子求情，但他們沒有理會。巴爾博尼並稱，《全球郵報》為救佛里，花了數百萬美元，包括聘請國際保安公司，結果在2013年發現佛里被囚處。

巴爾博尼相信白宮知道佛里被囚的地點，並採秘密行動試圖救他。他又說國務卿凱瑞某種程度上也參與了搜尋佛里或釋放他的談判。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
