央行：兆豐銀獲選為外幣結算平台的歐元清算行

台灣央行今(13)日宣布，將由「兆豐國際商業銀行」擔任外幣結算平台的歐元清算行，而外幣結算平台納入歐元結算作業預計於明(2015)年6月底上線，未來將持續擴增外幣結算平台功能、完善金融基礎工程。

央行表示，本次參與歐元清算業務遴選的銀行中，以兆豐銀條件最優異，該行是目前外幣結算平台的美元清算行，具多年清算經驗，且擔任清算行以來，無論系統、人員或流動性提供皆運作順暢，尤其兆豐銀是國內大型外匯銀行，在歐元區也設有分行，未來將可提供充足的流動性。

央行自去(2013)年3月1日起營運外幣結算平台，目前已可辦理境內及跨境美元、人民幣匯款，以及提供款對款同步收付(PvP)機制，並預計於明年初納入日元結算作業。
