2012年12月21日在馬雅人的曆法當中，記載地球將會發生災難，而成為當時人人恐慌的世界末日。那時全球各大媒體爭相報導，後來我們平安的度過了那一天，期末考還是照樣要考，星期一還是照樣要上班。

末日預言開始百花齊放，神劍兄弟會（Sword of God Brotherhood）信徒說「死亡時間」將會在2017年1月1日，神學家格尼（Ian Gurny）的預言指出「審判日」應在2023年；另一項較為實際的預測則指出，西元45億年時太陽將膨脹變成巨大星體，吞沒周遭星球，包含地球。

人類好像就是如此的無法逃離「死亡」的手掌心，那麼對於「死亡」，我們真的準備好了嗎？

台裔美籍藝術家張慧雯（Candy Chang）不斷挑戰公共空間的傳統概念，使它發揮獨特的作用，讓社會和人們重新連結。
