批評外勞政策阿聯拒美學者入境

據紐約時報報導，紐約大學一名教授因批評阿聯對外籍移入建築勞工的剝削，遭阿聯拒絕入境。

紐約大學與加州南加大是全美外籍生最多的2所高等學府，紐約大學近來更陸續在阿聯首府阿布達比、中國大陸上海及全球超過12個城市設置分校。

紐約時報指出，在紐約大學教授勞工政策的教授羅斯（Andrew Ross）原本16日計畫搭乘阿提哈德航空公司（Etihad Airways）班機前往阿布達比，利用春假進行勞資研究，但在甘迺迪國際機場被以安全為由，不准登機。

羅斯被駐在機場的阿聯官員告知，不得進入阿拉伯聯合大公國。

不少教授批評阿聯這種做法，讓人再度想起專制政府企圖影響大學學術自由。

羅斯是紐約大學知名學者，也是美國大學教授協會（American Association of University Professors）紐大分會會長，長期在「紐約時報」撰寫文章。曾公開批評阿聯運用低工資、不善待外籍移民工。
