盧彥勳今天比賽一波三折，先是高溫延後賽程，比賽中又因雨暫停，且在連輸兩盤後，第三盤搶七力戰落敗，他賽後也談到了今天比賽的狀況。

因天氣過熱，盧彥勳直到當地時間下午6點才進行比賽，「天氣太熱了，連球的感覺都不是很能控制，走入球場有飄飄的感覺，體力也覺得有點負荷不了，腳步一開始也跟不太上。」

前兩盤都以3-6不敵保加利亞新生代好手Grigor Dimitrov，其實盧彥勳第二盤一度3-0領先，他指出，發球局被破有點急，非受迫性失誤也增多。還好下了一場雨，整個氣溫也下降不少。

這場雨讓比賽又延誤近2個小時，讓第三盤只打完3局就停頓，盧彥勳與 Dimitrov戰至搶七，化解對方4個賽末點，最後以6（11）-7（13）告負。

他說：「上場後感覺好很多，只是可惜最後幾個關鍵球未能掌握住，錯失搶回一盤的良機。自己也很少在如此炎熱的氣候中作戰，不過整體而言，對自己今天的表現還算滿意。」
