象語人！印度17歲少女 「說服」誤闖城市象群回森林

印度東部魯爾克拉市(Rourkela)一名17歲少女托普諾(Nirmala Topno)，擁有一個很特別的能力，就是她能與大象溝通，並且能「說服」誤闖住宅區的象群回到森林。

根據英國《每日郵報》(Daily Mail)報導，托普諾自小就看著父親瑪利諾(Marino)帶領男性居民驅趕野象，後來她請父親教她驅象的技巧，13歲時就與父親和男居民一起執行驅象任務。

而去(2013)年當地居民因不知道如何將象群趕回森林，請來托普諾幫忙說服，托普諾也成功帶著10頭以上的大象回到森林裡。托普諾因此成為當地名人，更被居民稱為「象語人」。

托普諾表示，其實在接近大象時也會緊張，事前會先進行祈禱，接著再透過聲音、肢體語言與目光焦流與大象溝通，而每當完成驅趕任務後就會感到很有成就感。

不過，其實驅趕大象相當危險，托普諾的父親就是因遭到發怒野象攻擊而過世。儘管如此，托普諾仍未怯步，並稱未來想與政府合作，投入趕象工作。
