海南施放巨型天燈 直徑逾40公尺

大陸海南省瓊海市紅嶺村村民，18日凌晨成功施放了一座直徑超過40公尺的捆綁式巨型天燈。

新華網報導，這個巨型天燈由62個直徑2至4公尺的小天燈組成，由60多名年輕人花費一周製作完成。該天燈施放後升至近50公尺高空，隨風飄移一段時間後燒盡，整個過程持續約5分鐘。

報導稱，放天燈是當地群眾中元節驅鬼祈福的傳統習俗，近年來逐漸演變成一種娛樂活動。
