火箭面對本賽季黑馬拓荒者，Patrick Beverley歸隊首場先發，林書豪則從板凳出發。

拓荒者目前已31勝9敗高居西區第2，球隊近期表現火燙，前一場屠殺小牛收下5連勝。

主場迎敵的火箭，開賽就積極搶攻，James Harden、Dwight Howard以及歸隊的Beverley相繼命中三分，很快取得21比9領先。

林書豪第一節在剩下約6分半上場，有1抄截、1 失誤火箭攻勢依舊犀利，前一戰手感冰冷的Parsons，此役首節得分就來到10分。
