今年首例流行性腦脊髓膜炎病例

疾病管制署公布今年第一例流行性腦脊髓膜炎首例確定病例，個案為新北市中和區一個月大女嬰，原本即患有蠶豆症，1 月6日出現輕微咳嗽及發燒症狀就醫，1月9日院方通報，1月13日研判確定，病原分離出B型奈瑟氏雙球菌，為本年首例確定病例。

疾管署副署長周志浩指出，該女嬰已退燒，且意識清楚、進食良好，目前在加護病房持續進行抗生素治療中。相關接觸者共26 人，皆無疑似流行性腦脊髓膜炎相關症狀，同住接觸者9人、密切接觸1 人及雙和醫院醫護人員約16人，已接受預防性投藥。
