美國政府將拍賣絲路案查扣比特幣

美國政府將開始拍賣去年從非法網站絲路（Silk Road）查扣的大量比特幣，導致比特幣價格重挫。

聯邦法警局12日在聲明中說，將在本月拍賣29,656個比特幣。當局表示，共從聯邦調查局（FBI）移轉約144,341個比特幣至聯邦法警局，總價值達約8,600萬美元。

這些待出售的比特幣來自去年10月遭查封的非法網站絲路。美國政府表示，該網站是「規模龐大的黑市」，被藥頭及其他非法販子用於販賣數百公斤的毒品及清洗來自非法交易的數億美元黑錢。

CoinDesk的比特幣指數顯示，比特幣價格12日重挫6.7%至586美元。上述拍賣開始時間訂在27日。競標人需預先進行登記、提供身分證明文件，並存放20萬美元在美國司法部。得標者名單將於30日公布。
