不敵強風　25年老樹和0.2公噸花台被吹倒

高市左營區公所門口紅磚人行道1顆種了25年、約3層樓高的榕樹，今天清晨慘遭麥德姆颱風帶來的強風襲擊倒地，榕樹的根部連著重達200多公斤的花台一起翻覆，差點壓到停在一旁的白色汽車，幸好沒有造成人員傷亡。

今天上午7時許，左營區公所人員發現榕樹被吹倒，立刻聯絡外包商前來處理，3名工人合力鋸掉樹幹後，傾倒的花台竟直接翻轉回來，讓目擊民眾嘖嘖稱奇。 當地居民表示，左營區公所剛落成的時候，門口共種植2棵榕樹，這次被颱風吹倒的是其中1棵，「真的很可惜！」（王勇超／高雄報導）
