香港天主教社區今天緊急呼籲參與「占中」運動的學生和市民，基於人身安全的考慮，盡快撤離靜坐現場。

教區表示，對於真普選的訴求，日後仍可以適當方式爭取。

這是「占中」運動爆發以來，首次有宗教團體呼籲停止「占中」。(中央社)
