根據新加坡主要媒體「聯合早報」和「海峽時報」（The Straits Times）今晚即時新聞報導，網路謠傳新加坡建國總理李光耀已過世，並非事實，李光耀仍在醫院接治受療。

李光耀5日因感染嚴重肺疾入院，目前病情穩定。

李光耀前年因身體不適，並未出席新春團拜聯歡宴會，去年也因感染導致發燒和嚴重咳嗽，在大年初三住院治療。

「聯合早報」和「海峽時報」均報導，李光耀仍在醫院接治受療，網路消息純屬謠言。
