根據聯準會(Fed)周三公布的褐皮書經濟報告顯示，美元走強並非目前經濟情況的一項因素。

美元走強，僅被墨西哥灣石油業者提到一次，他們擔心美元升值已經讓美國原油出口變得更貴。

褐皮書--根據10月6日前接受Fed訪談的企業人士談話所彙整而成--發現，整體經濟持續以2011年以來所見到的同樣「由溫和至略高於溫和的速度」成長，消費者支出略高於溫和，薪資成長溫和。
