外交部：駐處說明贈錶非禁忌

外交部發言人高安今晚表示，我駐英國代表處已向英國相關媒體說明在台灣贈錶沒有文化禁忌，也沒有負面意涵。

英國媒體就英國官員贈禮一事有相關報導，高安晚間受訪表示，我駐英國代表處已向當地媒體說明解釋，在台灣送錶沒有文化禁忌，也沒有負面意涵。

高安指出，事實上，我方與外賓的贈禮往返，贈錶不是禁忌，包括總統接見外賓也會致贈總統紀念錶，外交部贈送外賓的禮品項目中也有包括外交部紀念錶，駐處已向當地媒體說明，避免當地輿論對台灣贈禮文化有誤會。
