雖然有看到回文中有人提到這google就有答案了 我還是幫忙把查到的資料貼上來分享，方便大家和原PO 《Do not go gentle into that good night》這是一個英國詩人Dylan Thomas在 他老爸要掛掉之前，寫來鼓勵他老爸的詩，詩中用太陽將滅來比喻人之將死，用人們 的不服、不捨、不願來比喻對於活下去的執著，詩中亦不斷重複「Do not go gentle into that good night」、「Rage, rage against the dying of the light」兩句， 來表現出對於死亡的反抗。 以下先分享詩的全文，後面在放上我對這首詩在劇中的含意的小看法。前三句為電 影中的翻譯，後面則是我自己硬著頭皮、按照我對於詩意的理解及網路上的資料下去翻 譯（不直接貼翻譯是因為查到的翻譯內容不盡相同，有些翻譯還看起來怪怪的，當然我 自己的可能也好不到哪，聊勝於無。）。 Do not go gentle into that good night, 不要溫順地步入那良夜 Old age should burn and rave at close of day; 白晝將盡，就算年老也要燃燒咆嘯 Rage, rage against the dying of the light. 怒吼，怒吼抗拒天光沒滅 Though wise men at their end know dark is right, 智者已知黑暗為萬物之終 Because their words had forked no lightning they 他們的言語已無法再激出雷馳電掣 Do not go gentle into that good night. 不要溫順地步入那良夜 Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright 善良的人們，在最後的波瀾前泣訴著 Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, 他們本可璀璨的讓那易逝的足跡在綠色海灣上翩舞。 Rage, rage against the dying of the light. 怒吼，怒吼抗拒天光沒滅 Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, 曾經追逐及謳歌太陽的猖狂的人們 And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, 醒悟一切已太遲，他們哀慟著白日將殘 Do not go gentle into that good night. 不要溫順地步入那良夜 Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight 將死之人用日漸模糊的視線張望 Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, 盲去的雙眼仍可在最後一刻像流星一般亮眼 Rage, rage against the dying of the light. 怒吼，怒吼抗拒天光沒滅 And you, my father, there on the sad height, 而汝，吾父，於傷慟之巔立誓 Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray. 用淚水為我祈福，我將祝禱 Do not go gentle into that good night. 不要溫順地步入那良夜 對於這首詩在劇中的含意如果只從一直重複的前三句來看 1.鼓勵人們要勇敢奮鬥不輕言放棄，用來推動太空人上宇宙。 2.鼓勵進入宇宙應抱持謹慎的態度，「良夜」借代「宇宙」 因為宇宙是黑的，但又是人類的希望，所以是「良夜」。 3.計畫A必然失敗，用來讓太空人在知後，能夠斷然的選擇繼續計畫B的任務。 接下來就是腦補了 如果來看這整首詩，就彷彿在敘述主角 wise man：主角曾是工程師，現在只能當一個農夫。 good man：主角說過不應該是當個「守門人」，而是「探險者」 好比自己的足跡應該更璀璨的被彰顯。 wild man：主角曾是NASA飛行員，是個「追逐太陽」的人，但現在因災難所以只能 當農夫。 grave man：主角每次喝酒瞇眼時，就有一種「心死」的樣子 但主角也沒放棄，認為人類一定有希望(跟老師談話那部分)，以至於之後前往宇宙。 以上小小拙見及分享。 附上詩的參考資料，因為都只是很一般的網站就不縮網址了： 1.
